Nah, berbicara mengenai telepon, ternyata ada beberapa istilah dalam bertelepon dalam bahasa inggris yang dapat kita pelajari, Berikut ini jenis-jenis nya dalam bahasa inggris beserta dengan contoh kalimat nya lengkap.
1.CUT OFF
Cut off merupakan interupt a telephone conversation yaitu mengganggu pembicaraan orag yang sedang bertelepon.
Example :
- She always cuts off my conversation (dia selalu mengganggu pembicaraan ku)
- I dunno why he always cuts off my conversation (aku tidak tau mengapa dia selalu memotong pembicaraan)
2.GET THROUGH
Dalam bahasa ingris disebut dengan succeed in speaking on telephone atau sukses berbicara di telepon.
Example :
- we get through the problem (kita berhasil membicarakan masalah di telepon)
- will you get through this promblem? (akankah kita berhasil membicarakan masalah dalam telepon)
3.HANG ON
Dalam bahasa inggris disebut dengan wait for a short time atau menunggu sebentar untuk melanjutka telepon.
Example :
- there is a guest, I will hag on the telephone (ada seorang tamu akan mematikan sebentar telepon)
- She always hang on the telephone, I dunno why (dia selalu mematikan sebentar telepon, aku tidak tau mengapa)
4.HANG UP
Hang up dalam bahasa inggris yaitu end a conversation and down the telphone atau mematikan telpon lalu meletakkan nya.
Example :
- will you hang up the telphone? (akankah kamu mematikan telepon?)
- They will not speak with me and hang up the telephone (mereka tidak mau berbicara pada ku dan mematikan telepon)
5.CALL BACK
Call back dengan kata lain yaitu menelepon balik atau menelepon lagi. Berikut ini contoh kalimat nya dalam bahasa inggris.
Example :
- I will call back you again (aku aka menelpon mu lagi)
- She never call back me again (dia tidak pernah menelepon ku lagi)
6.PICK UP
Pick up dalam bahasa inggris memiliki arti answer the telephone call atau menjawab telepon.
Example :
- Please, pick up my telephone (tolong jawab panggilan telepon ku)
- I know he never pick up my telephone (aku tau dia tidak pernah mengangkat telepon ku)
7.PUT THROUGH
Put through memiliki bahasa lain yaitu connect the telephone atau menghubungkan telpon. Berikut contoh kalimatnya.

Speak up memiliki arti speak louder atau berbicara keras. Istilah ini juga merupakan istilah yag digunakan dalam bertelepon.

10.HOLD ON
Hold on merupakan istilah dalam bertelepon yaitu wait for a short time, yaitu menunggu untuk sementara waktu karena sedang dialihkan.
